Wow! What a busy start to school for ME! I am now teaching Biology to 92 freshmen. I feel like a new teacher since I haven't been in a real classroom in about 8 years. Here are some pics from out last Hoorah and back-to-school shopping in Grapevine. I loved that mall. It definitely won't be our last trip there.

We just got back from a 3 week hiatus from Lorena. We left for Florida, via Alabama, on June 28. Our vacation started at DisneyWorld on July 2. We visited Magic Kingdom, Epcot, and Animal Kingdom. Then we drove to Port Canaveral to board the Disney cruise ship Wonder. We went to Nassau, Bahamas and Castaway Cay. We absolutely loved the islands. At Nassau, the girls and I did the Dolphin Encounter at Blue Lagoon Island, then Stephen and I put the girls back on the boat and experienced a small part of Nassau by going to the Straw Market, Conch Fritters (a cafe specializing in Conch), and Senor Frogs. The next day, we snorkeled, biked, and ate our way through Castaway Cay (Disneys Private Island). It was totally awesome to introduce Stephen and the girls to the underwater world. (I think my favorite). Then we spent the next day at sea. When we returned to Florida soil, we went to seveal surf shops at Cocoa Beach. Then we went back for one more day to finish Magic Kingdom and do Hollywood Studios and Downtown Disney. Stephen, McKenna and I left Kaegan in Alabama while we returned for more chaos. We got home on Monday and then Tuesday I was off to Houston for bonding time with the math department at CAMT in Houston to return to fins out that I would be teaching Biology this year. After driving in Friday, I had about 15 minutes to unload and load again and we headed to Rockport to help Diedra get set up in her new apartment. After sending stephen on a plane back to Alabama to move his parents back to Texas, Mckenna and I came home to start Centex Volleyball league. And now its time to get ready for spiritleading and my new class.

I love having a pool! The kids get so much enjoyment from playing during the time we are home for summer. 5 more day until we take off for our trip! We are so excited! We got our eating schedule set and have reservations for le cellier steakhouse in Canada (Epcot), The Coral Reef Restaurant, Wolfgang Puck's, and a character breakfast at the Beach Resort.

Yeah for summer!!!
We are soooo glad summer is finally here! We had a busy end of school. Kaegan's softball team placed second in Lorena and we got to go to city tournament. We went 1-2 but had a very young team and played well. Kaegan really surprised us with her pitching this season. Maybe we found her sports niche.
Kenna finished up softball for a while with a third place finish (out of 41 teams) at the PFX tour in McKinney. It was a very emotional weekend because she has decided to let go of softball for a while and it was hard saying goodbye to the team.
We are gearing up for our upcoming trip to Florida and the Bahamas. We will be at DisneyWorld for about 4 days, and then we will get on the Disney Cruise Ship to go to Nassau and Castaway Cay. We will also be stopping by Alabama for a few days to visit MeeMaw and Pawpaw and visiting Cape Canaveral and NASA. I cant wait to post pictures of our trip. Then the day we get back, Mom packs to go to Houston for a Math conference and then we will head to San Marcos and Rockport to move Diedra to her new job.

Wild Spring
Hey- Its been a while since I posted because we have been so busy. I think we have been in every hotel in Texas. We are traveling every weekend for McKenna's softball and volleyball. Her Waco's Juniors team improved so much, it was amazing! While we are no where close to the best in the state, they played very well for a young team against many teams made up of all 12 year olds. It was really fun going to Dallas and watching them play like a real volleyball team.
The Terminators finally grabbed that first place trophy in Keller. It was a cold windy weekend, but they played very well. Last weekend, the girls played in a 12U tournament. I was very worried that they would get clobbered, however, they did great against some very BIG teams and ended up in 4th place, beating some pretty decent teams!
Kaegan's basketball team finished first in the Lorena League and Kaegan was awarded the MVP by her coach.
Right after Spring Break, I stepped in to teach Integrated Physics and Chemistry at the high school. Needless to say, I have been very busy trying to get them through the year.
We are counting doen the days until school is out. We are looking forward to Disney!!

Back Again
Well, to say the least, fall is very busy around here. Between McKenna and dad playing softball, Kaegan acting career taking off and me doing Spirit Leading and National Honor Society at school, it has been crazy.
So what's up with us? Kenna finished her fall softball season in November without the elusive first place finish, (we will be in the hunt during the spring season) and Kaegan was an orphan in the RISD production of Annie. Christmas was way too good to us. The girls got a Wii from Santa (really mom wanted the Wii for herself) and we booked a trip to DisneyWorld and a Disney Cruise for Early July. Every one is very excited about that. Kaegan is back playing basketball and Kenna gave up basketball this season to try out for volleyball. Her club team started practice Jan. 6 and had our first tournament this last weekend. We went to Austin with our 7 girls and won the tourney! Who'd have guessed!? I'll try to do better keeping up-to-date this Spring.
